On January, 10th the 4th edition of the Tignes Airwaves took place in Tignes/France. Last year Dani Torres/Spain won in front of Adam Jones and Thomas Pages. This year Todd Potter, Thomas Pages, Eigo Sato, Andre Villa, Alvaro dal Farra and Jeremy Rouanet were invited to ride the FMX competition.

The day before was really cloudy and snowy, so the practice had to be cancelled and the riders took the afternoon to set up the jet of the bikes, because of the high altitude. Fortunately the event day was great and sunny, so the practice could be hold.





At 6 p.m. the event started with a stylish riding André Villa doing a big No Handed Flip followed by his typical smooth trick list.





André finished 4th in front of the Italian Alvaro dal Farra who is getting better day by day. His highlights were a big Holygrab to Double Seat grab Indy, Flip Indy, Cat Nac Indy and a One handed Nac Flip.





The 3rd place took home the french youngster Thomas Pages who had the public behind him all the night.





He showed a Backflip Cliffhanger, Tsunami, Backflip Superman seatgrab, but he missed one jump, so he couldn't be 2nd.




That place took US boy Todd Potter showing a big superflip, big Ruler and a big Flip Indy, but he failed trying a Flip Cliffhanger.




So the winner was Eigo Sato who make a perfect run with with six tricks including Underflip, Flip lazyboy, Ruler and a Flip Cordova.

After the event all the riders were signing autographs for the hundreds of fans that keep watching the event till the final with -10.
