Hi Remi, first of all welcome back. It's great to see you are finally back after so many months of injury.
Please give the people a quick backspin what happened at X Fighters in Dubai?
Thanks a lot. It's great to be back! I broke my tibia fibia with an open fracture in Dubai on the Flair 540°. I wasn't ready for that trick, but I tried it. The curious thing is that I didn't crash, the leg just couldn't stand all the pressure I guess.
How many months you were out of riding and how hard was the training to get back strong?
I was out for three months and when I started to ride again in July I had a lot of pain. I thought it will get better but it got really worst so I went back to the doctor. Unfortunately the diagnosis was it got all fractured again so I had to wait three more months. But now everythings is fine and I am finally ready for a comeback.
Now you are back and ready for the NIGHT of the JUMPs in Liberec.
Do you have any new tricks in your bag and how big is your motivation to ride after being so many months off?
A new trick after being 6 months off? No, I just want to ride my bike and enjoying it. Let's see how all works in the upcoming weeks. Right now I'm really pumped and will try to bring new tricks soon!
You switched from 2-stroke to 4-stroke. What was the advantage for you to do the change?
I switched to the 4-strokes in 2011. It feels good for me and especially for traveling around it's an advantage! You don't have that much problems with the engine settings in the different countries.
What are you plans for the rest of the season and what kind of events you gonna ride?
My plan is to ride much as I can the rest of the season and I already started to work for next year! I will ride some shows around.
Do you want to say something to your fans, sponsors and friends?
Thanks for reading and i hope to see you guys on some events!!
Remi, thanx for taking time for us!
The FORTY8 crew is wishing you a successful comeback without injuries!
